Join a guided stargazing experience and enjoy the most spectacular show in the desert-
observing distant and awe-inspiring celestial objects through professional telescopes.
This is a rare opportunity to witness the wonders of the universe —
galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, planets, and other astronomical phenomena.

Weekend workshops
Once a month June- September
Schedule for a Weekend workshop (Available for families)
Light refreshments and hot drinks will be available throughout the observation.
Thursday
15:00 – Arrival and check-in to rooms
17:00 – Lecture: "Introduction to Observational Astronomy".
19:15 – Dinner.
Rest time
20:30 – Stargazing session with a guided explanation of the night sky:
What can be seen in the night sky, movement of celestial bodies, and preparation for telescope and binocular observation.
Early in the evening, we will spot artificial satellites.
Once it's fully dark, we’ll explore the constellations of the spring sky and later those of summer.
Later in the evening, we’ll witness the Milky Way in all its glory.
We will observe through telescopes various Deep Sky Objects – such as double stars, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and more.
Estimated end time: Midnight.
Friday
09:30 – Breakfast.
10:45 – Tour of the Art Center and Winery
12:30 – Lecture: "Who Are the Members of the Solar System?"
14:15 – Lunch.
Rest time
17:00 – Lecture: "The Birth, Life, and Death of a Star – The Evolution of Stars".
18:30 – Guided tour of the Weizmann Institute Observatory.
19:15 – Dinner
21:00 – Stargazing session. Estimated end time: Midnight.
Saturday
10:00 – Breakfast.
11:00–12:30 – Lecture: "The Search for Intelligent Life Beyond Earth".
13:00 – Lunch.
